Dr. Miguel Araos
Founder — STX Technologies
Chemist (BChem Honours, Universidad de Chile), with a PhD in detonation physics from the University of Queensland and an MSc in surfactants from the University of Sydney.
Dr. Araos has worked for more than 32 years with mining explosives technologies (emulsion, watergels and ANFO) across research and development, safety testing, manufacturing, field product implementation, regulatory compliance as an inspector of explosives, and as an expert witness in cases involving explosives. He has worked in plants across Europe, South America, North America and Australia.
